As of February 2025, Wet Nose Rescue began its 18th year of finding loving homes for puppies and dogs in need. Over the years, we’ve steadily grown, thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers and foster families. Their time and effort make all the difference in supporting our cause.
We’re always looking for new volunteers with fresh ideas to assist with transport days, help during fundraising events, or contribute behind the scenes with social media and marketing. If you’re interested in joining us, please complete the volunteer registration form on our website, and our volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you.
We’re also in constant need of foster families who can provide temporary homes for dogs and puppies while we search for their forever families. Wet Nose Rescue covers all food, supplies, and medical expenses for foster families, allowing them to focus on offering love and care without financial concerns.
Foster families are not responsible for finding adopters—that’s something we handle. Additionally, foster families have the first option to adopt the dog they’re caring for, and many of our families have gone on to adopt a Wet Nose Rescue dog.
Wet Nose Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and a licensed State Rescue.
