The Application Process

We ask that you give us at least forty-eight hours to complete the review of your application, at that point you may call us for for a status update.  We attempt to process and review applications as quickly as possible and attempt to match the right dog with the right family.  To check on the status of your application, call 267-684-6187.  We appreciate your patience.

Explanation of Adoption Fees

Puppies six months of age or under are a $300 donation with a $50 deposit for spay/neuter, upon completion with a veterinarian's certificate, this deposit will be returned to you unless you choose to donate it to the rescue.  The amount due at the time of adoption for a puppy is $350, you will receive a coupon at the time of adoption for a $25 credit towards dog training through Wet Nose Rescue.  We accept cash, checks, credit and debit cards, there is a $25 fee for returned checks.  Dogs over six months are $300.

Our mission is to help you find the right dog, this usually requires some time and patience.  We will work hard to help you adopt a new companion but we need your cooperation and understanding to be successful.

As part of the adoption process, you will be asked to sign a contract in which you agree to certain conditions, including maintaining regular veterinary care, any emergency care that might be needed and mandatory spay or neuter unless determined by a certified veterinarian that it is unable to be done.

All dogs shall be given a comfortable living arrangement, fed and watered and never abused in any way including negligence.  If there is any violation, all rights of ownership shall be forfeited.
